REPRESENTATIVES OF MINISTRY OF CULTURE, AND MONGOLIAN NATIONAL FILM COUNCIL VISITS THE HEAD OFFICE OF KOREAN FILM COUNCIL (KOFIC)

Delegates of Ministry of Culture of Mongolia and Mongolian National Film Council represent their country at the 28th Busan International Film Festival. During the festival, on October 11th, Undral.Ch the Chairperson of MNFC, Battsetseg.S the board member of MNFC, and Nomin-Erdene.G the Head of International Relations and Cooperation Department of MNFC visited headquarter of South Korean Film Council.

At the event, Park Ki-yong, Chairperson of the KOFIC made a presentation of KOFIC’s operating system (BOX Office Management system) which create a better and fair distribution environment for film industry, describing the system as the greatest system used in the worldwide today. With this system, KOFIC collects film ticket information from cinemas nationwide and provides film distribution information in real time to public. It constitutes a supportive environment for the future development of the cinema field.

KOFIC stages free film screening once in a month at the KOFIC cinema center. The cinema is equipped with world class technologies which set a pattern and requirement for other private cinemas in the field.
