    Inspired by the 13th-century eight-dialect orchestra, and enriched by the melody and sound of wind instruments used in the temples, the orchestra tries to improve the design of instruments and expand its range with a variety of instruments and different harmonies.

“Suld” Orchestra of Mongolian Police Ensemble

  • The “Suld” Police Ensemble have been performing in honor of the 70th, 80th, 90th, 95th and 100th anniversaries of the Police, the 80th anniversary of the Capital City Police, the 60th and 65th anniversaries of the Traffic Police, the 90th and 100th anniversary of the Ministry of Justice and the 70th anniversary of the Police Academy.
  • It has successfully participated in the 80th anniversary celebrations of the Humanities and Social Sciences University and the historical commemoration ceremonies of provinces, departments and divisions.

Since its establishment we have cooperated with Russia, South Korea, Germany, America, Japan and Australia. In 2018, the International Ballet Festival was held on our theater stage for the first time.

Since 2006, our organization has been operating sound editing, recording, dubbing and subtitling. Mongolian Philharmonic “Symphony Orchestra”

Repertory:

  • Performance of a repertoire of classical music from Mongolia and around the world.
  • Performance of all music for the Golden Fund of Radio and Television, and for documentaries and feature films of the Mongolian Film Consolidation-State Owned Enterprise.
  • Notable compositions performed by the Symphony Orchestra include “Warmest, closest hometown” (by People’s Artist and State Prize winner Ts. Namsraijav), Symphony No. 9 (by Ludwig van Beethoven), and “Samples from Classical Symphony”, “Mongolian State National Phillarmony” and “Gegeen Egshiglen Negen  (by State Honored Artist N.Butenbayar).

Experience of international cooperation:

In 1963 the Symphony Orchestra went abroad for the first time and performed in Beijing and Shanghai. Since then it has played in many cities around the world.

Mongolian Philharmonic “Bayan Mongol” ensemble

Repertory:

  • Mongolian folk songs, composers’ songs, musical compositions, feature and documentary films, television, radio, plays, musicals, children’s songs, Russian jazz music, as well as all current forms of modern jazz music from the classical times of world jazz music.
  • The “Bayan Mongol” ensemble has recorded and published “Bayan Mongol & Soyol-Erdene” records, “Bayan Mongol” records, “Bayan Mongol-40” double album, “Bayan Mongol” ensemble album, “Bayan Mongol” records, and “Mongolian Philharmonic”.

Experience of international cooperation:

  • Russian jazz composer and conductor V. Smagin, Cuban conductors Eddie Gaitan, Raymondo Calisdo, Ray Montesinos and Rembers, and Bulgarian conductor Krill Ekinomov have been invited as guest conductors.
  • The orchestra has performed in Cuba, Russia, China, Germany, Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic, Poland, Uzbekistan, and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
