Newcomer Tergel Bold-Erdene won best actor in Venice’s Horizons section for his turn as a main character in the feature debut City of Wind. Film director Lkhagvadulam Purev-Ochir’s full-length feature film ‘City of Wind’ is the film granted for a specific sum from Mongolian Film Fund of Mongolian National Film Council, and Ministry of Culture. ‘City of Wind’ have launched at global market besides qualifying to compete at ‘Orizzonti’ (Horizons) section of the 80th annual Venice International Film Festival. The film is the joint project produced by Aurora Films of French Republic, co-produced by Guru Media. Furthermore, award-winning shorts director Lkhagvadulam Purev-Ochir’s feature film the ‘City of Wind’ have been selected for ‘A WINDOW ON ASIAN CINEMA’ section.
