The sales girl, a Mongolian film was awarded Uncaged Award for Best Feature film at the New York Asian film festival

The New York Asian Film Festival, annually organized by the New York Asian Film Foundation to connect Asian and American heritage, as well as, promote Asian culture in all its forms, was held for its 20th year at Lincoln Center in New York City from July 15 to July 28 this year. In the “Best Feature Film” category of the festival, the films of eight directors from countries including Japan, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, and Mongolia participated. Among these films “The Sales Girl”, produced by Nomadia Pictures, and directed by J. Sengedorj won the “Best Feature Film” award.
As well, the film was selected as one of the best 15 films in the Grand Prix nomination section from over 900 films at the 17th Osaka Asian Film Festival held in March 2022. In addition to this success, Bayartsetseg B won the “Best Female Lead” award for her role in the film.
