WINNER HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED
Presenting the result of “The National Screenwriting Competition – 2024” organized by the Mongolian National Film Council, under the Ministry of Culture, Sport, Tourism and Youth of Mongolia and the Mongolian State University of Art and Culture.
In this competition, the feature film script category:
- 1st place – “MARUTO” feature film script, by writer Niti Dashzeveg.
- 2nd place – “DAUGHTER OF EAGLE” feature film script, by writer Turmunkh Batsaikhan.
In this competition, the short film script category:
- 1st place – “BUTTON KNOT” short film script, by writer Uranjargal Namkhainyamba.
- 2nd place – “THE METAMORPHOSIS” short film script, by writer Tergel Tuvshin.
On September 3rd, the writers who won the first prize were awarded certificates to participate in the 29th Busan International Film Festival, with prize money and the writers who won the second place winners also awarded with prize money. The awards were handed over by Undral.Ch, Chairperson of the Mongolian National Film Council, Gankhuyag.N, board member of the Mongolian National Film Council, Enkhbayar.G, board member of the Mongolian National Film Council, and judges Uranchimeg.N, Naranjargal.Kh.
