MONGOLIAN FILM WAS QUALIFIED FOR VENICE 80^TH COMPETITION

Film director Lkhagvadulam Purev-Ochir’s ‘City of Wind’ was qualified for the first feature film in international competition ‘Orizzonti’ (Horizons) section  of Venice 80^th Film Festival. The ‘City of Wind’ received certain amount fund from the Film Support Fund of Mongolian National Film Council, a governmental agency under the Ministry of Culture. The film ‘Snow in September’ by same director Lkhagvadulam Purev-Ochir was the winner of the Orizzonti award for Best Short Film at the previous 79^th Venice International Film Festival.
