ATTENDED  AT THE ASIAN FILM COMMISSIONS NETWORK MEETING

On May 19, the member countries of AFCNet (the Asian Film Commissions Network) successfully concluded their conference during the 77th Cannes International Film Festival.

Among the attendees from the Mongolian National Film Council including Undral.Ch Chairperson of Mongolian National Film Council, Nomuunzul.T, a board member of the Mongolian National Film Council. During the meeting, AFCNet members were briefed on compensation for filming in Mongolia as well as specific locations within the country.

AFCNet is a network of film commissions and professional film support agencies in Asia and AFCNet is has become Asia’s largest non-profit international film-related organization. On March 27, 2024, the Mongolian National Film Council, under the Ministry of Culture of Mongolia, officially joined the AFCNet as a member country.
