Dalanzadgad is the capital of Umnugovi Province. Located 560 kilometers from Ulaanbaatar, the province covers an area of 165,000 km2 and has 15 districts. There are 14 mining companies in the region, including Oyu Tolgoi, Tavan Tolgoi, Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi and Energy Resources.

The Ikh Khorgo tourist camp is located on the northeastern shore of Terkhiin Tsagaan lake, one of Mongolia’s most beautiful natural sites.
