Bulgan Province’s center is Bulgan City. It is located 318 km from Ulaanbaatar at an altitude of 1,208 meters above sea level. It covers an area of 89 km2 and has a population of 13,034 (2020). Bulgan City was founded on the site of the old Daichin Wang monastery. It is divided into six sub-districts (baghs). The northern point of the city is located at Achuut ovoo, the eastern point Meej Uul, the southern point Undur Khutul, and the western point Bulgan Khan Uul. Bulgan Province covers a total area of 8,860 hectares in the mountainous forest-steppe zone of central Mongolia.

Founded in 2019, the tourist camp operates seasonally from June 1 to September 1. It can accommodate 80 people per shift in 19 yurts and in one house with four rooms. In addition to restaurants, conference halls, saunas and heated parking lots, guests can play basketball and volleyball, golf, billiards, table tennis and do archery. Guests can choose from simple, semi-deluxe and full deluxe rooms, all of which have high speed internet, cable TV and IPTV service. The camp is located 270 km from Ulaanbaatar and accessible 10 km from Elsen Tasarkhai.
