International Film Festivals

Since its origins, the festival has been known internationally as one of the most established events devoted to new cinema. Thanks to its commitment to the support of independent filmmaking and personal vision, and for its numerous and in depth retrospectives, Torino has become a point of reference for both emerging and established filmmakers all over the world.

The SFF program celebrates the best of world cinema, screening features, documentaries, short films, retrospectives and a series of industry and public talks.

The aim for Stockholm International Film Festival is to broaden the selection of films in Sweden with creative new films of high quality and offer the visitor an orientation within modern film to stimulate a continuing debate.

The festival not only presents new Bulgarian and Balkan films to an international audience, but also introduces more and more international films from the festival circuit to the local audience. The festival’s importance is growing as constantly new activities are being developed on an international level.

The Festival is dedicated to promotion of young and talented European authors in two large competitive selections, as well as screening the latest achievements by the most awarded and acclaimed European directors. CINEDAYS Festival of European film is the largest film festival in Macedonia.

The festival is really to be recommended for the fields of horror and fantasy films. In general the festival is covered intensely by the national media.

General focus of the Sarajevo Film Festival is on regional production. An important element of the Sarajevo Film Festival is the CineLink market that connects scriptwriters, directors and producers from the region with international professionals. 

The Festival International du Film Francophone de Namur presents and promotes French-language audiovisual works and, to this end, brings together directors, producers, writers, performers and distributors involved in the creation of French-language cinema.

Festival organizer MAMI aims to foster a climate of good cinema. Appreciation of good cinema, stripped off all the limiting labels of art and commercial, can only come about through exposure to the best of films the world has to offer. The festival is the first step in that direction.
