LOCATION: SHAAMAR AND ALTANBULAG DISTRICTS, SELENGE PROVINCE.

Tujiin Nars National Park is a steppe with low mountains and hills in the Orkhon-Selenge delta in Shaamar and Altanbulag soums of Selenge aimag. This unique natural formation is a continuation of the southeastern end of the Great Siberian Taiga and the Khentii Range. This pine forest, which grows on the sandy soils of the plains, is dominated by ordinary pines. Taken under state protection in 2002. It is located 270 km from Ulaanbaatar.
