LOCATION: ARVAIKHEER DISTRICT, UVURKHANGAI PROVINCE

NOTE: This is a large temple complex built 15 kilometers from Arvaikheer District, Uvurkhangai Province. It sits at the heart of the famous Arvain steppe. The Great Horse Temple of the Mongolian People was opened for worship in August 2007. It was constructed on Bayan hill, which has been a site of worship for horse riders since ancient times. The site is located 361 kilometers from Ulaanbaatar.
