LOCATION: ADAATSAG DISTRICT, DUNDGOVI PROVINCE

NOTE Lake Khukh Burd is located in Adaatsag District, Dundgovi Province. The ruins of a stone building constructed in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries can be found on an island in the middle of a local lake. There are 4 pieces of masonry around its base. In front of the building was a 40-meter-long double stone wall. The stones used in this structure are believed to have been transported by camel cart from an area more than 200 kilometers to the south.
