LOCATION: SUKHBAATAR DISTRICT, ULAANBAATAR

The central square of Ulaanbaatar is called General D.Sukhbaatar’s Square. It is a monument to the victory of the People’s Revolution of 1921 when the People’s Army entered Ulaanbaatar from Khiagt. An equestrian statue was erected in 1946 on the 25th anniversary of the victory of the People’s Revolution.
