The Shiveet Khairkhan petroglyphs complex is located on the eastern bank of the Khar Salaa river in Tsengel District, Bayan-Ulgii Province. In terms of petroglyph chronology, the paintings were created by ancient inhabitants of the Mongolian Altai over a long period of history between the Early Bronze Age and Early Turkic periods.
