LOCATION: ERDENEKHAIRKHAN DISTRICT, ZAVKHAN PROVINCE

Senjit Khad is a one-kilometer-long wall-like cliff that runs along the top of a mountain near the center of Erdenekhairkhan District. This geologically interesting area also includes sand-dunes and some steppe features. Senjit Khad is so called because it contains a hole 10 meters high and between 6-8 meters wide, with a unique natural structure like a granite door. It is located 800 kilometers from Ulaanbaatar.
