LOCATION: DALANZADGAD DISTRICT, OMNOGOVI PROVINCE

Mukhar Shivertiin Am is located 36 kilometers from the center of Umnugovi Province. This remarkable iceflow, which is located in the middle of the Gobi desert, is regarded as one of the ‘nine wonders’ of the province.  It has become a place of interest for domestic and international tourists. The ice at Mukhar Shivertiin Am is formed by the freezing of a small spring at the foot of a mountain. It is located 537 kilometers from Ulaanbaatar.
