LOCATION: UYANGA AND BAT-ULZII DISTRICTS, UVURKHANGAI PROVINCE

NOTE: The uniquely beautiful Khuisiin Naiman lakes site is located in Uyanga and Bat-Ulzii Districts in UvurkhangaiProvince. The eight lakes found in this region are interconnected by deep veins and are rich in freshwater resources. They are surrounded by extinct volcanic craters called Urt Jalgyn, Dovyn, Ar Bituut, and Nogoon Nuur. In 1995, the Khuisiin Naiman lakes were taken under special state protection. They are located 413 kilometers from Ulaanbaatar.
