LOCATION: TSAGAAN-OVOO DISTRICT, DORNOD PROVINCE

NOTE Kherlen Bars is located to the southeast of Baruun Duruu lake in Tsagaan-Ovoo District, Dornod Province. Archeological excavations of the site in 1953 revealed two nearby walls associated with the ruins of the city of Kherlen Bars. It is one of the largest Chinese urban monuments in Mongolia.
