NOTE The area between lake Uvs and lake Achit, which stretches from Mongolia’s western border to the Khovd river, is occupied by the majestic peaks of the Kharkhiraa and Turgen mountains. Must Uul, the highest peak of the Kharkhiraa Turgen mountains, is 4,037 meters above sea level. Deglii Tsagaan Uul, the highest peak of the Turgen Mountains, is 4096 meters high.
