LOCATION: SHARGA, KHALIUN, TAYSHIR, DELGER AND BIGER DISTRICTS, GOBI-ALTAI PROVINCE.
The Khan Taishir mountain range, which stretches to the west of Gobi-Altai Province, is one of the most beautiful natural sites in Mongolia. The interior of this extensive range of mountains conceals dark forests, mineral springs, a wide variety of plant life, and mountain pastures. The highest point in the range is 3,070 meters above sea level. Delger District, one of the areas spanned by the Khan Taishir mountains, is located 742 kilometers from Ulaanbaatar.
