LOCATION: MONGOLIA, GOVISUMBER PROVINCE

ChoiriinBogd mountain is the pride of the people of Govisumber provinces. The mountain is located in the southeastern edge of the province, the western edge of the Great Borjigon region of our country. The mountain was taken under local special protection in 1997 and it was placed under special protection in the category of nature reserve in order to ensure environmental balance, preserve and protect the original appearance, and develop nature tourism.

In the vicinity of ChoiriinBogd mountain, there are many historical and cultural monuments, including Dagvasundel Buddha, East Janjin Choir Monastery ruins, the white Goddess, HusliinKhad, Children’s Mound, Sword Painting Rock, Ruins of Ancient Chinese Iron Telephone company, and DugarMeereng Statue.
