LOCATION: GALUUT DISTRICT, BAYANKHONGOR PROVINCE

NOTE: Chin Sujigt Nomun Khan Luvsannorovsharav established the Chogchin temple at Khankhar, on the Tsagaan Turuut river, in 1751. Chogchin temple was built in what is now Galuut District, Bayankhongor Province. Local people used to call the monastery Chin Sujigt Nomun Khan monastery, after the princely-religious title used by its founder. Chin Sujigt Nomun Khan Luvsannorovsharav was one of the highest ranking Buddhist saints in Mongolia.
