LOCATION: TSETSERLEG DISTRICT, ARKHANGAI PROVINCE

Bulgan mountain is located near Tsetserleg district , Arkhangai Province. It has received state protection since 1965. The main ridge of this mountain, which extends northeast through the area, forms the watershed of the two Tamir rivers. A number of high peaks are found in this region, including Malgai mountain (altitude 2,143 meters). It is located 460 kilometers from Ulaanbaatar.
