LOCATION: BUGAT DISTRICT, BULGAN PROVINCE

About 45 kilometers northwest of Bugat District, Bulgan Province, on the west side of the Altai River, are a group of rock paintings called Bichigt Garam. The paintings are much richer in narrative content and imagery than previously known rock paintings. They stretch over more than 250 meters and are located in two parts at the bottom of a steep cliff facing south.
