LOCATION: BULGAN DISTRICT, UMNUGOVI PROVINCE
NOTE Tuvkhun Monastery is located on the top of a mountain called Tuvkhun Shireet, more than 20 kilometers northeast of the center of Bat-Ulziit District, Uvurkhangai Province. In 1651, Buddhist saint Zanabazar built a small house with stone walls at the site for meditation. Since 1773 it has been called Tuvkhun Monastery.
