LOCATION: BULGAN DISTRICT, UMNUGOVI PROVINCE

The settlement of Bayanza is located in Bulgan District, Umnugovi Province. It is found at the southern end of the Gobi-Altai Mountains, on the road to the Gurvansaikh mountain range. Thousands of stone tools and pottery fragments have been found here. The settlement of Bayanza dates back to the New Stone Age.
