LOCATION: TSENGEL SOUM, BAYAN-ULGII PROVINCE, MONGOLIA

Baga Turgen Mountains are a stunning natural valley with snow-capped mountains surrounding it and rivers with rapid streams. Baga Turgen Waterfall is 36 meters high and segmented in two stages. The first part is 23 meters and the second one is 13 meters. At the bottom of Baga Turgen River, it is a pristine valley surrounded with historical sites related to the Turkic period, and Pazyryk burials related to the early Iron Age.
