Baatar Khairkhan is located in the Khovd province, it has an elevation of 3,984 meters above sea level. This mountain was known as The Red mountain of Valley prior to 1912.

This peak has the name of Baatar Khairkhan and it was the fight that freed Khovd from Manchurian domination is commemorated historically by this peak.
