LOCATION: ALTAI DISTRICT, GOBI-ALTAI PROVINCE

The Khuren Tovon mountain range branches out from the Mongolian side of the Altai mountains. The Inder, Gishuuntei and Ikh rivers flow from the front of the Aj Bogd mountain range, and Urt and Durulj rivers flow from the back. The geology of this mountain range consists of desert brown-gray soils. The site is located 990 kilometers  from Ulaanbaatar.
