INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS AND COPYRIGHT EXPERIENCES IN THE AUSTRALIAN FILM INDUSTRY TRAINING WAS SUCCESSFULLY ORGANIZED
On July 1, 2024, the Mongolian Film Council under the Ministry of Culture of Mongolia, and Australia Awards Mongolia Company on behalf of the Australian Government Scholarship Program, collaborated to “Australian Film Industry Experience” training about intellectual property rights and copyright.
The training program covered difficulties facing the Mongolian film industry and shared knowledge on how to safeguard intellectual property and establish a comprehensive framework in the Australian screen industry. Additionally, the collective management system was set up logically concluded with an efficient training session where writers, copyright holders and holders of related rights discussed their experiences with implementing and safeguarding the exclusive rights to use works.
This training was attended total of 35 people by representatives of the Ministry of Culture of Mongolia, the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia, the Communications Regulatory Commission of Mongolia, the Government Implementing Agency Department of Culture and Arts, the Mongolian Film Council and artists of Mongolia.

• Introduce an overview of the many types of intellectual property and copyright
• Introduce a comprehensive framework for the copyright
• Identify the interrelationship and infringement between copyright and intellectual property
