In accordance with the “PROCEDURE FOR NOMINATION OF CHAIRMAN AND MEMBERS OF THE FILM COUNCIL” approved by Annex 1 of Resolution No. 90 of 2022 of the MU Government, the work of appointing and selecting members of the Committee was organized. In accordance with Article 9.3 of the Law on the Support of Cinema Art, the head of the council and at least 30% of the members are appointed from the representatives of state organizations in the fields of culture, intellectual property, budget and finance, and 7 members are appointed through open selection. There is an office responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Cinema Arts Council. Internationally, two or more multilateral agreements, memoranda, and cooperation agreements have been signed to increase international cooperation and domestic competitiveness of the film industry and support the development of the industry.
