The government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the “World Press Photo” foundation held a closed screening of the documentary film “Written With Fire” on August 22^nd, 2024. Representatives of the Mongolian National Film Council attended this event.

The “World Press Photo” foundation and the Kingdom of the Netherlands present the “Resilience – Stories of women inspiring change” exhibition. This exhibition will be on display at Lkham Gallery in Ulaanbaatar from August 22nd to September 18th, 2024. Within the exhibition, the government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands held a closed screening event of filmmakers Sushmit Ghosh and Rintu Thomas’s documentary film “Written With Fire” to promote gender equality and empower women.

This documentary film shows how women become empowered and influence society in a patriarchal country. Representatives of the government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands tell about their intentions to bring this documentary film to a Mongolian audience.
