The tourist camp has been operating since 2005 and is located 9 kilometers west of Khovd City center. There is a dining hall with a capacity of 30 people per shift. There is a paved road between camp buildings. Mungun uul tourist camp is 4 kilometers west of Khovd airport and 1,580 kilometers from Ulaanbaatar.
